Excellence in Special Education

The 2024 Excellence in Special Education awards nomination period is now open. The deadline to submit a nomination is March 15, 2024. You can nominate more than once for different categories.  The awards will be presented at the NCCSE CAC Awards Ceremony on May 22, 2024, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the North County Regional Education Center. We invite you to join us in recognizing individuals who have excellently served students with special needs.

We gather annually to recognize and thank special individuals who have made a difference in the lives of children with special needs. Award recipients foster academic and social inclusion so that all students, including students with disabilities, can fully participate in the curriculum, activities, or communities with their general education peers.
